QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERINCE –

UPI LIMITED JOB OPENINGS 2025

Role: Field Executive – Process

Education Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering / B.Sc in Chemistry
Experience Required: 2 to 3 Years

Job Description (JD) –

• Carry out specific tasks related to the daily production plan as per the defined PTF.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all required parameters are monitored.
• Keep an eye on the safe condition of equipment in the section and strictly follow all safety norms.
• Work under the guidance of the Shift/Plant In-Charge to complete assigned duties on time.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment.
• Participate in DWM and 5S activities, ensuring ZLD and other operational efficiency parameters are maintained.

 

Role: DCS Executive – Process

Education Qualification: B.E. in Chemical Engineering / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years

Job Description (JD) –

• Closely monitor process parameters, stay alert, and immediately report any abnormalities to the Shift In-Charge.
• Supervise the running process, identify missing interlocks for safer operations, and help prevent unnecessary downtimes.
• Maintain records of stock levels, raw material flow rates, quantities charged, batches processed, batch times, in-process quality parameters, downtimes, and corrective actions taken.
• Plan production efficiently, considering routine shutdowns and inspections, while maintaining close coordination with the Shift In-Charge and other technical departments.
• Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, process upsets, and emergencies to minimize production disruptions and ensure safety.
• Supervise pH tests and suspensibility tests at DCS for record-keeping and early detection of product quality issues.
• Fill out checklists for close monitoring of various production parameters.
• Contribute to resolving quality-related issues due to plant operations in consultation with the Shift In-Charge.
• Ensure the highest quality products are produced without batch failures.
• Maintain a safe workplace, strictly follow safety regulations, and promote a safety-first culture among employees.
• Uphold the best housekeeping practices as per 5S standards.
• Actively contribute to fostering a Total Quality Management (TQM) culture in the plant.

Role: Shift Leader – Process

Education Qualification: B.E. in Chemical Engineering / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
Experience Required: 5 to 8 Years

Job Description (JD) –

• Lead and manage the production shift to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Supervise and guide a team of production operators, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures to reduce downtime and maximize output.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Maintenance teams to address production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and any deviations from quality standards.
• Regularly inspect equipment and machinery, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs or servicing as required.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety guidelines, and operational protocols.
• Ensure high-quality products are produced without batch failures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure safety compliance in every plant operation.
• Follow best housekeeping practices as per 5S standards.
• Play an active role in driving the Total Quality Management (TQM) culture within the plant.
